Ms Joanna Dau Jacob is currently teaching at REAL International School in various grade levels. With a teaching experience spanning over eight years, including five years of part-time teaching at a center and three years in REAL Schools, Ms Joanna has honed her skills and developed a deep love for her profession.
Ms Joanna holds a Bachelor's degree in TESL (Education) from HELP University. She also completed a Foundation in Arts program from the same institution. Additionally, she is an Apple Teacher, showcasing her expertise in utilizing technology in the classroom to enhance the learning experience.
As a dedicated educator, Ms Joanna believes in building meaningful relationships with her students and creating a safe space for them to learn and grow. She employs a variety of teaching methods, such as differentiated learning, blended learning, and game-based learning, to cater to the diverse needs of her students. By doing so, she ensures that every student has the opportunity to actively participate in their own learning journey.
Leadership is a value that resonates with Ms Joanna, as she strongly believes in nurturing the next generation to become leaders of excellence. She strives to instill leadership qualities and empower her students to become future trailblazers.

Outside of the classroom, Ms Joanna enjoys various interests and hobbies. She is an avid reader of novels, indulges in snail mailing, loves to travel, and finds joy in flower arranging.
Ms Joanna has actively participated in professional development activities to enhance her teaching skills. She has completed S.A.M Bar Model 1 in 2017 and received training for Strategising Teaching Methods for Special Needs Children: The S.A.M Way in 2019. Moreover, she served as the Vice President of the TESL Student Body Council in 2018-2019 and coordinated the ICAS exams in 2021.
After completing her internship at REAL Schools in 2020, Ms Joanna was accepted as a full-time teacher, attesting to her exceptional teaching abilities. During her time at REAL School, she contributed to various school events and initiatives, including Speech Day Award 2021/2022, the Spelling Bee Competition 2022, and the organization of the "Character Parade" event for Primary School students. Additionally, she was a member of the Apple Tech Team in 2021.
