Students of REAL International School Johor Bahru consists of 25 Nationalities

10 Local student : 1 International Student

Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin

We aim to keep class sizes to a maximum of 25* in the International School and 30* in the National School.

*Please note class sizes may on rare occasions temporarily exceed this.

We have a qualified school counselor to provide mental health support to all students on campus. We also have a student services unit specialized to collaborate with universities and educational agents to provide educational talks and to provide counseling to all secondary students on university and career pathways after they have completed their IGCSE/SPM.

We run a CAT4 Online Diagnostic Test for International school admissions and Written Assessment for National/Private school admissions.

Yes, we have 16 private transporters that covers several areas near REAL Private and International Schools Johor Bahru. The transporters are independent service providers and are not contracted by REAL Schools. Parents may initiate their own background search on the credibility and reliability of these transporters. All transporters are registered with the School Security and are required to follow Safety & Security Protocols within the school's premises.

We offer an extensive list of extracurricular activities, including various physical and sports activities.

We offer various sports activities such as karate, taekwondo, badminton, basketball, and Indoor games.

At REAL Private and International School Johor Bahru, we have many sports facilities, including outdoor courts, basketball courts and a swimming pool.

At REAL Private and International School Johor, we adopt a wide range of teaching approaches based on the age of the children and the requirements of the curriculum. Generally, we focus on student-centered learning as the year level progresses.

We also emphasize on the importance of mastering languages by incorporating different levels of language proficiency for English, Chinese and Malay subjects, especially in the international school curriculum.

REAL Time modules would, on the other hand, focus on learning and applying skills explored deeply in the core subjects. REAL Private and International School Johor also emphasizes on incorporating technology into students’ learning to train them to be tech savvy at an early age, giving them the edge over other peers later on.

Private schools are privately owned and operated schools. REAL Private Schools incorporate our own teaching curriculum, textbooks and teaching manuals in addition to what’s included in the Malaysian National curriculum.
