Overview

Safety and Security

The whole campus of REAL Schools, Cheras is secured by an outsourced certified security company that provides well-trained local Security Guards. There is also full CCTV coverage at all areas within the campus.

No unauthorised persons are allowed into the campus without a pass. All employees of REAL Schools, Cheras Campus (RSC) are required to wear identification tags. Vehicles entering the campus compound for purposes of picking-up and dropping-off students are required to have an authorised school car sticker. All visitors must report to the security guardhouse to register.

Parents who wish to visit their children during school hours will be required to inform the school of their intention for the visit. Such visits must be of significant importance. In general, we try to minimise disruption to learning in the school. Upon arrival at the school, parents must register at the guardhouse and then proceed to the respective block’s admin office. Their children will be informed and they will then meet with the parents in the office.

Students in school are not allowed to leave the campus during school hours without written consent from the school and parents are required to complete a student exit form to enable the student’s release. No third parties are allowed to visit the students in school. If parents wish to allow another adult to pick up their children, there must be a written authorisation from the parents or a phone call to the school, for agreed authorised release. Parents, guardians, and drivers are required to follow the RSC regulations in all matters that are related to the safety and security of their children within the school premises.
