Meet Our Teachers

Mr Thangaganesh graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Education (Biology) from from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He teaches Biology and Science at the secondary level at the REAL Private National School.Mr Thangaganesh has been teaching for 18 years and has extensive educational experience. Before joining REAL Schools in 2004, he taught private classes and lessons and conducted motivational seminars. He has been conducting Biology seminars for school students for the past 15 years. He is a very passionate teacher who strives to do his best and sees education as an opportunity to transform lives. He desires to educate and make a difference in every student he teaches. He also believes that a person can make a significant difference in people's lives outside the classroom, so he is actively involved in many voluntary activities.He also enjoys sports, particularly badminton, and is a nature enthusiast.

Ms Tan graduated from Jinan University in China with a Bachelor of Chinese Language Education. Shen went on to earn a Master of Education in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from Zhejiang University in China. She teaches Mandarin Communication Class and ICT at the primary level at REAL National School.Ms Tan has over 7 years of teaching experience. She worked in retail prior to joining REAL Schools and discovered her calling to be an educator, passionately teaching and shaping young minds until today. She strives to provide the best teaching experience in her class by incorporating advanced teaching methods and experiential learning for her students.Ms Tan is a certified Apple Teacher. She believes in lifelong learning and prefers to read in her free time.

Ms Tan graduated from Jinan University in China with a Bachelor of Chinese Language Education. She then went on to complete a Master of Education in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from Zhejiang University in China. She teaches Mandarin, Chinese as First Language and ICT at the primary level at REAL National School.Ms Tan has over 8 years of teaching experience and is a very enthusiastic teacher. She taught at a Chinese school for many years before going on to pursue her advanced studies and serve as a cadet teacher at a Chinese independent school, where she discovered her calling to be an educator. She believes that learning Mandarin should be fun and interesting and simple, so she strives to provide the best learning experience possible in the classroom by incorporating experiential learning through technology.Ms Tan is an Apple Certified Teacher who enjoys reading in her free time.

Ms T. Devi graduated with a Bachelor in Education from the Institut Pendidikan Guru, Bangi. She went on to pursue her Master of Education majoring in Bahasa Malaysia at Asia E University and currently in her final semester. She teaches Bahasa Malaysia, Moral Education, and RBT at the primary level at the REAL National Schools.Ms T. Devi is not only excellent at teaching, but also a loving teacher to her students. She has been teaching for over 30 years, having taught at an international school in Malaysia for 11 years before joining REAL Schools. She admires the supportive people at REAL Schools, from teachers to students and even parents, and strives to provide her students with the best teaching experience possible through experiential learning.Ms T.Devi enjoys reading and, when she is not teaching, she enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes.

Ms Soon June Voon is an outstanding teacher of Mathematics, RBT, Computer, and LEGO. She is a primary school teacher at the REAL Private National School. She graduated with a Diploma in IT from the S.T.E.P Institute.Ms Soon June Voon has over 23 years of teaching experience, beginning as a computer teacher at a Chinese school for 10 years before joining REAL Schools. With extensive teaching experience, she has developed a high level of patience and commitment to educating and teaching young minds, and she is always up for a new challenge. For her dedication to teaching, she received the Teacher of Flexibility, Enthusiasm, and Determination award.She recognises the value of continuous learning and went on to complete nearly 90 hours of online training from 2020 to 2021 to equip herself with all the necessary knowledge for her teaching. She is also a certified Apple teacher. Aside from academics, she is also active in the school's co-curricular activities, serving as Co-curriculum Coordinator and teaching volley ball club.Mrs. Soon June Voon enjoys sports and particularly likes to play volleyball.

Ms. Siti Ramah is our Bahasa Melayu and Islamic Studies teacher. Ms. Siti Ramah has 28 years of experience being a teacher, IGCSE examiner, Head of Examinations and now, she’s the Head of Department at REAL International Secondary School. As an educator, she is committed to producing a young generation with vision no matter where they are.Students, parents, and co-workers are a big part of why Ms. Siti Ramah loves teaching at REAL Schools Cheras. Among Ms. Siti Ramah’s biggest achievements in her time here with REAL Schools Cheras is when she was awarded the Excellent Achievement Award for PMR and SPM History 2005 & 2009. In addition to that, in 2022, one of her students broke the world record for the IGCSE Malay Language subject.Apart from teaching, Ms. Siti Ramah enjoys travelling, playing sports, reading, and cooking in her free time.

Ms. Siti Nur Atiqah has a Masters of Science Degree in Microbiology from Universiti Putra Malaysia. She teaches Physics at the secondary level at REAL National School. Besides Physics, she has had the opportunity to also take up Moral studies and REAL Time lessons at REAL Schools.She is to be a a friendly and enthusiatic teacher among students and was even awarded the "Most Friendly Teacher Award 2022" She's also a loving mother who enjoys hiking, cycling and spending quality time with her family.

Ms. Siti Fatimah Binti Kamarudin is a passionate Early Years educator at REAL Schools, where she teaches Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mathematics, Agama, Science, and Art & Craft. She holds a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies from Teesside University (2015) and a Diploma in Islamic Early Childhood Education from the International Islamic College (2013). Additionally, she completed the Kursus PERMATA in 2018.Ms. Siti Fatimah began her teaching journey in 2013 and has been dedicated to educating preschoolers for over a decade. Her practicum at RKSSS Cheras Campus in 2015 led to a full-time position, marking the start of her enduring commitment to REAL Schools Cheras Campus.She thrives in the supportive and diverse team environment at REAL Schools, fostering positive relationships with colleagues, staff, and parents. Ms. Siti Fatimah is eager to continue learning and developing new skills within this nurturing community.Inspired by Benjamin Franklin's words, “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn,” Ms. Siti Fatimah emphasizes active involvement and hands-on learning in her teaching philosophy. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys exploring nature with her family and reading.Ms. Siti Fatimah has made significant contributions to REAL Schools, including her role as a taskforce member for the Gen 8 RealKids curriculum, where she completed work on the BM Core-P3 in 2021. She also played a key role in choreographing the market scene dances for the annual concert in 2023/2024, alongside Puan Wati.Ms. Siti Fatimah Binti Kamarudin’s dedication to early childhood education, her collaborative spirit, and her commitment to continuous learning make her a valued member of the REAL Schools community. Ms Shazilawati graduated from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) with a Bachelor of Information Management. She teaches Bahasa Melayu, Islamic Studies, Moral Studies, and Real Time at the primary level of the REAL National School.Ms Shazilawati has been a dedicated teacher at REAL Schools for over 14 years, and what motivates her to do more and better each day is seeing her students enjoy and succeed in her classes.In her free time, she reads more books to expand her knowledge and occasionally watches drama series.

Ms Radiah is our RBT and Moral teacher and currently teaching the secondary level at the REAL Private National School. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in economics from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).Ms Radiah is a determined teacher who believes that one should not give up easily without trying hard, as she constantly reminds her students. She is very passionate about what she does, and one of her proudest accomplishments was leading her students to compete in a cooking competition organised by UCSI University and winning Champion in The Next Big Chef 2019. She also received the Best Teacher Award in RBT for PT3.When she is not teaching, Ms Radiah has a passion for culinary and enjoys cooking delicious healthy food for her family.

Ms Prema holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). She teaches English, Moral Education, and History at the primary level in the REAL National Schools.Ms Prema is a dedicated educator who enjoys educating young minds and has taught at REAL Schools for over 5 years.She values the supportive and positive environment at REAL Schools, which has taught her and inspired her to be the best teacher she can be.Ms Prema is an Apple Certified Teacher. Ms. Nurul Bariah Binti Mat Lazim is a dedicated and experienced educator with 11 years of teaching under her belt. She specialises in teaching Art (P. Seni), History (Sejarah), Moral Education (P. Moral), Physical Education (P.E.), and STEM subjects. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Development Science, reflecting her deep knowledge and commitment to the field.Nurul Bariah has a genuine passion for teaching and takes great joy in educating her students. Her extensive experience has equipped her with the skills to create engaging and effective learning environments, where students are encouraged to explore, question, and grow.Outside the classroom, Nurul Bariah enjoys cooking and baking, hobbies that showcase her creativity and attention to detail. Ms Nurhasni obtained a Diploma in Computer Science from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a Diploma in Education from Institut Pendidkan Guru. She currently teaches Bahasa Melayu, Islamic Studies, and Art at the primary level at REAL National School.Ms Nurhasni is a very enthusiastic teacher with over 14 years of teaching experience. She taught at the preschool for two years before continuing her passion to teach at the primary school. She has been with REAL Schools ever since and is grateful for the opportunity to educate and develop talents in her students through experiential and knowledge sharing over the years.She has achieved many milestones with the school over the years and has received numerous awards for her outstanding achievements. Among the awards received are: Outstanding Teacher Award (2017-2019) for producing excellent results in UPSR 2016-2018 for the subject Bahasa Melayu and Well Kept Lesson Plan File 2012. In 2018, she was also appointed Academic Supervisor, Head of Exam Unit, and UPSR Exam Committee, as well as UPSR Exam Coordinator with Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Hulu Langat from 2015 to 2018.Ms Nurhasni is also very interested in and passionate about performing arts, and she is the leader of the School Cultural Dance Club. Her favourite type of dance is traditional dance, which she enjoys as a hobby.

Ms. Nur Athirah Binti Zahuri is an enthusiastic educator who has been teaching Mathematics, Science, ICT, Art, and Real Time for the past year. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. An alumni of REAL Schools Cheras from 2002 to 2009, Nur Athirah has always had a deep passion for teaching, which has been evident since her childhood.After graduating in 2021, Nur Athirah began her career in the education sector as a private tutor. Her early experiences in various tuition centers helped her hone her teaching skills and adapt to different learning styles. This diverse background paved the way for her current role at REAL Schools, where she continues to grow professionally and personally.At REAL Schools, Nur Athirah has found a supportive and nurturing environment. She values the kindness and camaraderie among the teachers, which has significantly contributed to her development as an educator. Ms Norhayati graduated from Institut Pendidikan Guru in Bangi with a Diploma in Education. She teaches Science, Sejarah, and Real Time at the primary level of the REAL National School.Ms Norhayati is a loving mother to her boys and is respected among her students for being a loving and caring teacher. She is a teacher that is both friendly and firm with her students. She believes that every child is unique and capable of succeeding according to their individual learning style.Ms Norhayati is a very devoted teacher and was awarded a Long Service Award for her continuous commitment to teaching for over 20 years at REAL Schools. In addition, she also receives the Excellent Teacher's Award.Outside of the classroom, she loves gardening and is also a cat lover.

Ms Norfadzilah graduated from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) with a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Hons). She went on to graduate from Maktab Perguruan Islam with a Diploma Pendidikan Lepasan Ijazah in Pengajian Bahasa Melayu. She teaches History at the secondary level at REAL Private National School.Ms Norfadzilah has been teaching at REAL Schools for 15 years and is an inspiring teacher. She is admired for her simplicity and easygoing personality, as well as her dedication to her work and teaching. She committed to making History a fun and engaging subject in her classroom, and she felt fulfilled when her students enjoyed learning History. Ms Ng Yarn Yee graduated from the University of Northumbria with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in International Business Administration. She teaches Mandarin at the secondary level at the REAL National School.Ms Ng has over ten years of teaching experience at the school and is an incredible teacher because she is passionate about teaching and enjoys seeing her students grow. She believes that teaching and learning are mutually beneficial because she is constantly learning and experiencing new things from her students.Ms Ng enjoys reading and listening to music in her free time.

Mr Ng Wei Chiang is our amazing Mathematics teacher. He teaches the secondary level at REAL Private National School. He obtained his Bachelor of Science (Environment) from the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).Mr Ng Wei Chiang has more than five years of teaching experience and is very conscientious and passionate about educating his students to do well and be the best influence to his students.When he is not teaching, he enjoys music and playing the piano. In his free time, he enjoys sports such as jogging and basketball.

Mr Muhammad Azlan graduated from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) with a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology (minor in Statistics). He teaches Mathematics and Additional Mathematics at the secondary level at REAL Private National School.Mr Muhammad Azlan has been teaching for over five years and is known for being a very analytical and energetic teacher. Every day is a new challenge for him as a Maths and Add Maths teacher in instilling his students' interest in learning the subjects, which makes him even more motivated to do his best as an educator. He received the Best Teacher Awards for Mathematics and Additional Mathematics for nine consecutive years from 2011 to 2019 for his dedication and perseverance in teaching.Mr Muhammad Azlan enjoys sports and puzzle games in his leisure time.

Mr Qhalid graduated with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Hons) from Universiti Putra Malaysia. He later earned his Diploma in Education from Institut Pendidikan Guru. He teaches Bahasa Melayu, Arts, Islamic Studies and REAL-Time at the secondary level at REAL Private National School.Mr Qhalid, who is known for being a very humble and caring teacher, has 22 years of teaching experience at REAL Schools and admires the school's peaceful and wonderful environment. He enjoys teaching and is always proud of his student's accomplishments over the years. He was awarded with the Most Creative Teacher Award in 2010.Mr Qhalid enjoys listening to great music in his spare time as a way to unwind.

Mr. Mohamed Syafri holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Adminstration (Finance). At REAL National School he teaches Principles of Accounting, Business Studies and Islamic studies for secondary level students.Mr. Mohamed enjoys travelling and gaining new experiences during his free time.

Ms. Mallini A/P Ramasamy is a dedicated and experienced educator at REAL Schools, where she teaches English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mathematics, Science, Art & Craft, and Moral Education. She holds several qualifications, including a VTO (Vocational Trainer Officer), a Children Education Certificate III from ACCA University in Australia, and KSPK (Kursus Latihan Guru Prasekolah Swasta).Ms. Mallini's teaching career began with a seven-year tenure as a temporary teacher in the government sector. She then joined REAL Schools, where she has been an integral part of the faculty for 21 years. Her long-standing commitment to REAL Schools is a testament to her passion for education and her dedication to her students.She deeply values the supportive environment at REAL Schools, which she attributes to the leadership and her wonderful colleagues. She believes that the very concern of wanting to be a good teacher is a sign of being one, underscoring her reflective and conscientious approach to teaching.In her leisure time, Ms. Mallini enjoys cooking and reading, activities that allow her to relax and continuously learn. Ms Lim is a proficient Chinese language teacher who teaches at REAL Private National School's secondary level. She holds a UEC Certificate and a Diploma in Business Management from Stamford College.Ms Lim has 19 years of teaching experience, having taught at a public school in Malaysia for three years before joining REAL Schools for 16 years, where she continues to teach enthusiastically. She enjoys teaching and is passionate about inspiring her students to love learning, particularly Chinese, because she understands how difficult it is for her students to learn the language.Ms Lim enjoys reading to expand her knowledge whenever she has the chance. She also enjoys travelling to new places and meeting new people.

Mr. Khairul is a Physical Education teacher who specialises in teaching swimming to REAL National Primary and Secondary School students. He received his Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Green Energy) from Politeknik Port Dickson. He is, however, very passionate about swimming and coaching.Mr. Khairul has nearly ten years of coaching and teaching swimming experience. Prior to joining REAL Schools, he worked as a swimming coach at a private swimming club and academy, where he taught new swimmers as well as special needs children. He also coaches and trains swimmers to become swimming coaches. As a physical education teacher, he is very passionate about sports and especially enjoys trying new ones. Mr Kahirul believes that one should never give up without even trying and that one should never say no.

Ms Karen Leong graduated from LimKokWing University with a Diploma in Graphic Design. She teaches Mathematics and Art at the primary level at REAL National School.Ms Karen is an exceptional teacher with over 25 years of experience in education and teaching. Her perspective as a teacher is that a teacher does more than just teach academically; they also guide their students, open their minds, and touch their hearts.Ms Karen has received numerous awards for her dedication and excellence as a Mathematics teacher in producing outstanding UPSR results. She is also an Art teacher heading the school's Art Department. She is actively involved in decorating and setting up the venue for school annual events such as concerts and graduation.In her free time, she is constantly looking for ways to enhance her teaching, and she also enjoys singing.

Ms. Intan Norzalifah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She currently teaches Chemistry, Science and Moral Studies at the secondary level of the REAL Private National School. Ms. Intan is known as the passionate and loving teacher among her students. Ms. Hastini Binti Anuar is an esteemed educator specializing in Pendidikan Agama Islam, Perniagaan, Sejarah, and Physical Education. With a robust academic background, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Surveying Science and Geomatics, coupled with a Master's degree in Psychology in Education. Her diverse educational qualifications underpin her comprehensive approach to teaching, blending scientific precision with an understanding of psychological principles in education.Passionate about teaching, Ms. Hastini finds immense joy in sharing knowledge with her students. She believes that the ability to facilitate learning is a unique talent, one that she nurtures with dedication and enthusiasm. Ms Faizah is our Biology and Bahasa Melayu teacher She has 12 years of teaching experience, including IGCSE Biology and IGCSE Malay Foreign Language. She is the current Head of Science and was previously the Head of CCA and Events. She graduated from Management & Science University with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Hons) (MSU).Ms Faizah is a very passionate teacher who is always there to support her students, and she is ecstatic when she sees her students grow and achieve greater heights in life.Ms Faizah enjoys gardening outside of the classroom and reading the latest research and news to broaden her knowledge.

Ms Ebbie holds a Bachelor of Laws LL.b (Hons) degree from the University of Reading. She later earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Bar Professional Training from Cardiff University. She teaches English, Cambridge English, and Real Time at the secondary level at REAL National School.Ms Ebbie is a cheerful and kind person with a legal background who has a heart for children and a passion for teaching and seeing them grow into wholesome, well-rounded, and skilled individuals. She worked in the legal field for over 5 years before joining REAL Schools as an educator.Ms Ebbie is also very involved in the school's extracurricular activities, supporting as a trainer and member of the organizing committee for the Inter-School Debate Competition, in which her students won Champions, Best Speaker, and Second Place.Ms Ebbie enjoys baking and is interested in current affairs and politics.

Mr Darmindar graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia with a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Geography. He is the principal of the REAL National School and teaches Geography at the secondary level.Mr Darmindar Singh is a name that is very familiar in the school compound and to the parents, having impacted the lives of not only the students but also the teachers, with over 25 years of experience with REAL Schools, beginning as a Geography teacher. He is also an author for Oxford Fajar and Sasbadi revision books and workbooks, where he shares his knowledge and experience in geography. Apart from that, he is constantly coaching and guiding students in motivational seminars and Study Smart Workshops throughout Malaysia.Mr Darmindar is also known as a humble and well-respected individual with a strong interest in charity.

Ms Awanis holds a Bachelor of Economics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She later earned a Diploma in Education from the Institut Pendidikan Guru in Bangi. She teaches Bahasa Melayu and Business at REAL National School, secondary level.Ms Awanis has over ten years of teaching experience and is well-known among her peers and students for being a caring and responsible teacher.She believes that all teachers should think positively, and she has received the Best Teacher Award for her outstanding achievement. In her spare time, she enjoys reading.

Ms Araceli graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, majoring in Accounting, from the Philippine School of Business Administration, Manila. She teaches English at the primary level at REAL National School.Ms Araceli has more than 17 years of experience in education. She spent a short time teaching at a private institution before joining REAL Schools in 2006 and continuing her passion for teaching. Ms Araceli is a very dedicated teacher who strives to provide her students with the best learning experiences. She is also acclaimed for being a very caring teacher among her students.Ms Araceli participates actively in both academic and extracurricular school activities. She consistently gives her students encouragement and support, recently, she led them to Sunway Velocity to compete in the Public Speaking Competition and Spelling Bee, where they won multiple prizes.She received a Long Service Award in recognition of her outstanding commitment to the school. She also loves to travel and discover new places.

Ms. Alycia Lim Jia Ee serves as the Campus Psychologist for both juniors and seniors at REAL Schools. With 1.5 years of experience in this role, she brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to supporting the mental well-being of the school community. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) and a Masters in Clinical Psychology, along with a certification in Psychological First Aid (PFA).Ms. Alycia's passion for psychology is rooted in her deep understanding of the human mind and her commitment to guiding individuals toward mental well-being. Her diverse experience spans working with NGOs, universities, rural communities, hospitals, and rehab centers, providing her with a broad perspective and valuable insights into various aspects of mental health.Her true calling, however, lies in working with young people. Ms. Alycia finds immense satisfaction in helping children and adolescents navigate the challenges of growing up, discovering their strengths, and building resilience.
