Mr Cheli completed his Bachelor of Education (Hons) in English Literature from University of Otago, New Zealand and is certified in teaching English as a Second Language from Massey University, New Zealand. He also holds the National Professional Qualification of Educational Leaders (NPQEL) from MOE and has served as Vice Principal since 2007 for several schools including SMK Bandar Kuching (1) in Sarawak, SMK Sinar Bintang KL, and SMK Menjalara KL.

Mr Cheli is the founder of the ‘Reading Bus Club’, an NGO that provides books to marginalised children in rural and urban poor communities. The HELP or ‘Helpful English Language Programmes’ won him the Innovative Teacher of The Year Award in 1994. He also founded ‘Positive Attitude Builds Character’ (www.pabc.my), an Attitude Management System that empowers students to take ownership of their education. In his last year of service in public schools, Mr Cheli initiated and coordinated the ‘Cutting Edge Zones’ (CEZ) which involves the digitalization of classrooms to transform the way teachers teach and the way students learn.

As a reflection of his extraordinary 36-year career in education, Mr Cheli has won the ‘Excellent Service Award’ from the Ministry of Education on five occasions (1994, 2003, 2009, 2013 & 2019); an achievement very few public servants in Malaysian history have attained.

Ms T Navaratnam (Ms Nava) has been in the international school educational arena for 40 years in Singapore and Malaysia.

After completing her tertiary education in Singapore, she served the Ministry of Education, Singapore for 10 years.

Since then, she has held various positions as teacher, coordinator, and rising to Principal and Director.

"When students enjoy the learning journey, build skills and are provided with a wide opportunity to discover, inquire, dirty their hands, make mistakes, learn from them, and face challenges; that, in itself, will go towards ensuring success in life."

She currently serves as the Principal of REAL International School Cheras.

Impacting the lives of not only the students, but the teachers as well, Mr Darmindar Singh is a name that is very familiar in the school compound and to the parents as well. With over 25 years of experience in this school, starting as a Geography teacher, he has made his way up and made a name for himself.

Mr Darmindar holds a Bachelor Degree and a Masters in Geography from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Today, being a principal, Mr Darmindar is still contributing his skills, knowledge and experience as a Geography teacher apart from being a known author for Oxford Fajar and Sasbadi revision books and workbooks. Apart from the above, he continuously coaches and guides students in motivational seminars and Study Smart Workshops all around Malaysia.

Above all that, he is known to be a humble and well-respected person who has a high interest in charity. He is a volunteer in the Kajang Sikh Food Bank where he contributes his time and effort to provide food for those who have been badly impacted by Covid-19.
