Back in February prior to the Chinese New Year celebrations, Surians of all ages from the Junior and Senior sections donned their sports attire and laced up their running shoes in preparation for R.E.A.L Schools, Cheras Campus’ annual ‘Cross Country Run’. This yearly event is always an eagerly-anticipated one as students get to explore nature and the school’s surrounding areas while pitting their wits, physical prowess and competitive spirit against those of their peers.
This 17th edition of the annual run, held on 6 February 2015, attracted the combined student participation of the entire Suria campus, covering both Sekolah Seri Suria and R.E.A.L International School communities. The run had even attracted the interest and involvement of the Surian alumni, with several members returning to their alma mater to relive their student days in events like this.
Apart from winning points for their respective Sports Houses, everyone went home a winner on the day as they keylogger for my android phone participated with great energy and enthusiasm. In the end, the ‘Cross Country Run 2015’ was deemed a success and a meaningful event as the values of sportsmanship and living a healthy lifestyle were cultivated and apparent for all to see.
