With a history that spans 30 years, R.E.A.L Schools is an educational institution committed towards transforming students through active learning. Since our establishment, we nurture students to achieve real transformation and success through holistic education of exceptional standards.

Our students are engaged in a rich and challenging curriculum from kindergarten to primary and secondary levels in both international and national syllabi. Interwoven into this are robust extracurricular activities and character-building programmes; providing students with a platform to develop natural talents, discover embedded potential and inculcate strong values.

As such, we engage our students into a transformative journey that produces results. These results do not only encompass academic achievements but are balanced with extracurricular excellence and honourable character.

With R.E.A.L being an acronym for Results Enhancing through Active Learning, it is only by challenging norms and espousing collaborative learning that students are able to experience continuous improvement or transformation through enhancement. Here, students are inspired to explore lessons beyond books and classrooms by being exposed to an experiential, hands-on approach that fosters a lifelong love and knowledge towards learning.

Academic achievements underlie the results that we seek; but in measuring results as a whole, a balanced criteria is utilised, which includes achievements in non-academic fields such as sports, creative arts, soft skills, leadership qualities, and so on. We also consider an honourable character as a worthy result as it is the very first of our core values which we uphold and try to inculcate in our students.

Transformations need not necessarily be sudden and drastic. Rather, our students are continuously refined with every transformative encounter and experience to reveal sometimes imperceptible changes in the short term, but prodigious improvements over longer periods of time. We thus strive for continuous improvement, which is achieved by learning together with others and challenging the norms - from simple daily tasks to greater established systems – but always based on in-depth understanding and research of the subject matter; to be able to acquire this knowledge, our students practise active learning.

Active learning is experiential and extends beyond the class to unconventional learning activities to help students gather knowledge; it forces them to explore beyond their abilities outside their comfort zone, which is when yet undiscovered potential will be revealed.

Perhaps most importantly, learning must be a lifelong habit. To cultivate lifelong learners, we inculcate the love for learning in our students by helping them learn how to learn; then, with the knowledge in hand, they can experience the joy of sharing what they had learnt, which is the very seed of transformation in society.
